What are the main customer complaints about Honda keys?
Here at the keyless shop we deal with several types of keys from all makes and models of vehicles. One of the worst types of keys we get complaints about are Honda keys.
Honda remote key
When customers come in with a Honda key they mention how they constantly break or crack especially if it is a remote head key. This is seen mostly on Honda car key remotes ranging from 2004 - 2011. We repair or replace them everyday. We can either re-shell it or offer you a flip key which are designed very well. They are difficult to break, and consumers love them.
Another complaint we see is that Honda remote head keys screws strip to where they cannot get it apart. This is important because in order to change the battery the screw must be removed first.
A few customers say that the batteries are too small and don’t last very long. Some of the keys have two batteries in them which cost more money to buy and they are not easy to change unless you have the right tools.
